APC Chieftain Obidike Urges Investment in Education, Hails Tinubu’s Child-Centered Policies on Children’s Day

Hon. Chief Chukwuebuka Obidike, a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of Bidiks Nigeria Limited, has extended warm Children’s Day wishes to Nigerian children, highlighting the crucial role of quality education and responsible parenting in shaping a successful future for the country. In an interview, Chief Obidike emphasized that every child in Nigeria—regardless of their background or where they are born—deserves equal access to quality education and proper moral guidance.

He stressed that a child’s formative years are critical in determining the trajectory of society. According to him, building a prosperous and resilient nation requires prioritizing the needs of children by investing in their education and instilling core values through responsible parenting. “If we desire a strong and prosperous nation tomorrow, we must invest in our children today—through education and by instilling the right values at home,” Obidike stated.

As Chairman of Clarivo Oil & Gas Limited as well, Obidike praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its commitment to improving the welfare of Nigerian children. He acknowledged the reintroduction of the school feeding programme, increased budget allocations for basic education, and initiatives promoting digital literacy as impactful policies that create opportunities for Nigerian children to thrive in a competitive and modern world.

Obidike commended these government efforts as vital in establishing a strong foundation for the empowerment of future generations. He also reaffirmed his personal dedication to advocating for children’s rights and welfare, including access to healthcare, protection from abuse, and opportunities for comprehensive development.

In his closing remarks, he urged parents, teachers, and all stakeholders—including government officials—to collaborate in creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that allows every Nigerian child to reach their full potential. Through such collective action, he believes the dream of a better Nigeria is achievable.
