According to him, “ we have a gigantic skill acquisition centre in Ibagwa-Aka constructed by one of our sons, Badamosi Ibrahim Jimoh and was graciously approved by National Directorate of Employment (NDE) after their inspection, making Igbo-Eze South the headquarters of skills acquisition in Enugu North. Many of our youths are in Mario Institute, Ihe n’ Owerre and some at Udi, being trained on various skills.”

He urged, young people to take advantage of vocational training and entrepreneurial opportunities to position themselves for growth and sustainability, noting that certificates alone are not enough to guarantee success.

He emphasized that skills acquisition not only reduces unemployment but also drives innovation and community development.

Ugwueze stressed that the future of Igbo-Eze South and Enugu State, at large depends on how well the youth harness their talents and turn them into productive ventures.

He noted that with more investment, Igbo-Eze South could emerge as a model for youth empowerment and grassroots economic development in the state, courtesy of the Council Chairman.

He, therefore, urged government agencies, private organizations, and stakeholders to continue supporting skills acquisition programs in the area.
