The State Deputy Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Enugu State and Chairman South East Disciplinary Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Steve Oruruo made this known while speaking on the topic “Enugu Smart Schools: Turning Aspiration into Reality ” on the programme, Beyond the Headlines on Freedom Square TV, anchored by Uchenna Cyril Anioke.

Oruruo described Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah as a leader endowed with clarity of thought and lucidity of mind, while also praising the Governor’s intellectual depth, visionary ideas, and pragmatic approach to governance.

According to him, “ it places a destination where our children will stay here in Nigeria and work in London metropolis, New York, Australia, Japan and do business in China. Africa was also captured in the Governor’s broadcast in terms of post colonial escape from clauses of western imperialism and this is the kind of leadership Nigerians are yearning for. In the Government of Peter Mbah, the smart schools are schools of mechatronics. If you capture a child at the age of 3, and he is to be thought robotics, mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence (A.I), and all manner of creativity and he gets the opportunity of having free lunch, free uniform, free school fees and every other facilities; It posits equalization and that is the dividends of democracy both to the rich and the poor.”

He emphasized that Governor Mbah’s administration positions Enugu State for accelerated growth and development.

Barr. Oruruo further stated that such qualities have continued to inspire confidence among the people and stakeholders, reinforcing the Governor’s reputation as a transformative leader.
