Tomorrow is Here Movement is Grassroot-Based – Obiajulu Princess Ugwu

——— Says Tomorrow is Here Movement of Governor Peter Mbah is a grassroot-based initiative committed to transforming lives at the community level.

 

Media Director and Publicity, Tomorrow is Here Movement, Enugu State, Obiajulu Princess Ugwu emphasized that the movement goes beyond rhetoric, focusing instead on direct engagement with the people to drive inclusive development.

 

Ugwu made this known while speaking on a topic “ Inauguration of Tomorrow is Here Movement, Enugu East Senatorial Zone: A Post Mortem,” on Freedom Square, a programme on Solid FM, 100.9, anchored by Uchenna Cyril Anioke.

 

In her words, “ this movement is something that has to do with the grassroot. We saw the inauguration of local government coordinators. we are also going to Inaugurate ward coordinators in various Local Government Areas and also polling units agents .We are engaging even to the smallest units, traditionalists and also the leaders of the faith base organization. We are going to engage and collaborate with their leaders whenever or wherever they are gathered together.”

 

Ugwu stated that Tomorrow is Here Movement embodies Governor Mbah’s vision of participatory governance, ensuring that every citizen feels the impact of government policies and projects.

 

She reiterated that the initiative’s strength lies in its connection with ordinary citizens, saying, “It’s not an elitist platform; it’s built from the grassroots, by the people and for the people.”
