Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has congratulated his Anambra State counterpart, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on his resounding victory in the recently concluded governorship election, describing it as a clear reflection of the people’s overwhelming trust and confidence in his leadership.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, on Monday in Umuahia, Otti said Soludo’s re-election with a landslide margin was not only well-deserved but also a strong endorsement of his achievements and reform-driven governance in his first term. He noted that the people of Anambra had spoken decisively through the ballot box, reaffirming their belief in Soludo’s vision, integrity, and commitment to transforming the state.

Governor Otti urged Soludo to see his re-election as an opportunity to deepen the progress already recorded in Anambra, consolidating on the foundations of good governance, infrastructural development, and people-oriented policies. He further commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting what he described as a peaceful, credible, and transparent election that allowed the will of the people to prevail without disruption.

According to Otti, credible elections remain the cornerstone of democracy and a necessary ingredient for national stability and progress. He called on Soludo to extend a hand of reconciliation to his political opponents, emphasizing that unity among political actors was crucial for the collective advancement of Anambra State.
