Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vows to Press On With Reforms, Rejects Intimidation and Political Pressure

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his determination to stay the course on his administration’s reform agenda, insisting that he will not be distracted or intimidated by what he described as political “noise,” acts of indiscipline, or disregard for lawful authority.

Speaking during a meeting with leaders and coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, the President stressed that his government remains firmly committed to upholding democratic principles and the rule of law. He maintained that no amount of opposition pressure or criticism would compel him to abandon policies aimed at national progress. According to him, respect for the judiciary is non-negotiable, regardless of whether court decisions favour the government or not.

Tinubu reflected on his long political experience, noting that he is accustomed to challenges and resistance. He made it clear that attempts to intimidate or discourage him would not succeed, emphasizing that he is prepared to endure repeated trials if necessary to move the country forward.

While acknowledging the economic difficulties currently affecting Nigerians, the President assured citizens that he remains fully committed to his responsibilities. He stated that he has listened to the concerns of the people and understands the weight of the situation, but will not abandon his mandate. Instead, he pledged to remain resolute, continue working tirelessly, and see through the reforms aimed at stabilising and developing the nation.
