FRSC Opens 2026 Recruitment, Invites Qualified Nigerians to Apply

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the commencement of its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for vacancies across its officer, marshal inspectorate and road marshal assistant cadres.

According to a recruitment notice dated June 24 and signed by the Deputy Corps Marshal and Head of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, on behalf of the Corps Marshal, the online application portal will open on Friday, July 3, 2026, and remain accessible for four weeks.

The corps emphasised that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge, warning prospective applicants against paying money to individuals or organisations claiming to facilitate employment.

“Application is free and attracts no cost,” the notice stated.

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the FRSC’s official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.frsc.gov.ng within the stipulated application period.

The corps also noted that shortlisted candidates would be required to present printed copies of their completed application forms during the screening exercise.

“Applications must be submitted online within four (4) weeks with effect from Friday, 3rd July, 2026,” the notice added.

The recruitment exercise covers three major cadres.

For the Marshal Inspectorate Cadre, applicants possessing National Certificate in Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND/OND), Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife qualifications or Community Health Extension Worker certificates are eligible to apply. Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old.

The Road Marshal Assistant Cadre is open to candidates with a minimum of three credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), including English Language and Mathematics.

The corps also invited artisans and skilled workers, including computer operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, motorcycle riders and drivers, to apply under the category, provided they possess the relevant trade qualifications and valid licences where necessary.

Applicants seeking positions as drivers or riders must possess the appropriate class of valid driver’s licence, while articulated vehicle and tow-truck drivers must be between 26 and 40 years old.

Male applicants are required to have a minimum height of 1.65 metres, while female applicants must be at least 1.58 metres tall.
