‘God’s Plan’ Behind My Return Says Monarch as He delivers first speech: Emir Sanusi has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Yusuf and the Kano State House of Assembly

for their courage and wisdom in reinstating him as the Emir of Kano. He received his appointment letter on Friday,

marking a significant milestone in his journey as a traditional ruler.

Emir Sanusi emphasized that his reinstatement is a testament to the power of God’s plan, stating that

every event in life has a lesson to teach us about the presence of God. He quoted the Arabian proverb,

“In everything that we are going to witness, there is a lesson that shows us that God is there.” He added that

whatever happens to an individual is preordained by Allah and serves as a lesson to those who are sensible enough to recognize it.

the tension

Emir Sanusi’s reinstatement comes after a tumultuous period in Kano State’s history, marked by political tensions

and power struggles. His return to the throne is seen as a symbol of hope and unity for the people of Kano, who have

been divided by the political machinations of recent years. The Emir’s leadership is expected to bring stability and progress

to the state, and his reinstatement has been widely welcomed by the people of Kano.

Meanwhile, a Federal High Court sitting in Kano has issued an order restraining the Kano State Government from enforcing

the Kano State Emirate Council Repeal Law. The order was granted in an application by Alhaji Aminu Babba Dan Agundi,

the Sarkin Dawaki Babba of the Kano Emirate, who filed a fundamental rights case against the Kano State Government and

other relevant authorities. The latest lawsuit is another development in the ongoing saga concerning the Emir’s seat, and it

remains to be seen how the legal battle will unfold in the coming days and weeks.
