…_says Mbah repositioning education, infrastructure, security_
The Executive Chairman of Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), Dr. Gabriel Ajah, as well as the members of the education board, have congratulated Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State over his recent conferment with the Man-of-the-Year award by the prestigious national daily, The Sun Newspaper Publishing Limited.
In a goodwill message signed by Dr. Ajah felicitating the governor, Dr. Mbah was extolled for changing the face of the state through his intervention in the critical infrastructure and other sectors in the state.
The statement further noted that the governor was repositioning the educational system, overhauling the general infrastructure and enhacing an enduring security legacy which has made Enugu one of the most peaceful states in the federation.
“The timing of this award reflects the special status Enugu State has attained since your assumption of office. This was a result of your uncommon leadership resolve to set an unprecedented landmark and track records in the history of our beloved state,” the statement reads in part.
While appreciating the governor for initiating robust policies that have impacted positively on the lives of the citizens, the ENSUBEB boss added that the administration was already resonating with the people in areas of infrastructural development and human capacity building.
According to him: “We are particularly impressed with your resounding intervention in the education sector both in terms of policies and programmes.
“The ongoing 260 experiential learning Smart Schools across the state with globally competitive facilities such as the centres for artificial intelligence, robotics, digital studio are all testimony of a new dawn in the state. Today, Enugu State is enjoying security, fresh water, good roads and better welfare package for workers”.
He assured that the management and staff of the board would continue to support the government to achieve its laudable vision for the citizens through quality education.
