Enugu State Positions itself as Gaming Hub: The Enugu State government, led by Governor Peter Mbah,
is poised to tap into the nation’s gaming industry to boost the state’s revenue. To achieve this, the state is
hosting a Gaming Conference on June 27, themed “Exploring the future of Gaming: Innovations and Collaborations.
” The event aims to bring together stakeholders from the private and public sectors to explore new opportunities
and collaborations within the gaming sector.
According to Prince Arinze Arum, Executive Secretary of the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission, the state is
committed to expanding its economic opportunities to become a premier destination for investment, business, tourism,
and living. The gaming conference reflects the state government’s commitment to fostering growth and development
within the gaming industry, with the potential to transform Enugu State into a gaming tourism destination.
