Fiery social critic and Special Adviser to Lagos State Government on Drainage Matters, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, took to his Facebook account yesterday to share the details of a phone call he received in which he learnt that the North is planning to produce the president of the country again in 2023. He said that on receiving the information, he laughed loud knowing that it was a joke. He thinks the idea is not tenable.
Mr. Igbokwe has been s staunch supporter of Bola Ahmed Tinubu under whose administration he served as Commissioner. He also believes that it is the turn of the South to produce the next president of Nigeria. But in as much as he support the idea that the president should come from the South, he does not advocate that it should go to the South East which has not had a shot at the presidency so far.
