The ICMC Enugu Branch Chairman S.I.D. Iyida, Esq. Ph.D, FICMC; whilst thanking the Executive Chairman Enugu East LGA, Hon Engr Pst. Beloved Dan Obi-Aneke, FICMC; for his unbridled commitment to the course of Mediation and his gracious approval to collaborate with ICMC Enugu Branch, in the forthcoming 2025 Annual Lecture slated for 11th of June, 2025; he further opined that, the entire State is agog with the news “MEDIATION ADVOCACY REACHES THE GRASSROOT, AS ENUGU EAST LGA COLLABORATES WITH ICMC ENUGU BRANCH”.

The Branch Chairman is full of thanks to the Mayor of the East for this strategic Partnership, saying that the Annual Lecture is a yearly ritual which offers the Institute the Platform to intellectually interrogate and propagate the prospects of Mediation as a discourse towards Value Addition.

The Enugu East Local Government Chairman who incidentally, is a Fellow of the Institute stated clearly that he has no regrets in signing into Law, the LAND MEDIATION BYLAW which he said, that it represents the popular opinion of their People; to resolve Conflicts and disputes pertaining to Land, peaceably through Mediation.
