The attention of Management of the David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Uburu, (DUFUHS) Ebonyi State has been drawn to the attached fake social media publication for advertisement of job vacancies into various academic positions in the University.

This illegal advertisement went ahead to request that interested members of the public should send their applications and CV to a fake email address for further action. In view of the above, several individuals have contacted the University to authenticate the advertisement to enable them prepare their applications.

Arising from the above and to ensure that the general public is not mislead, it has become necessary that the correct information is put forward to diffuse the wrong impression created by this fake advertisement.

Let me therefore emphasise, that the David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Uburu (DUFUHS) Ebonyi State did not advertise for any job vacancy. As a Federal Institution, the University shall, in line with the regulations, officially make public through the appropriate media channels any advertisement for job vacancies including the qualifications as well as modalities for applications.

The general public is therefore advised to disregard any fake social media circulations for job vacancies purported to have emanated from the University. This is the handiwork of mischief makers who are determined to extort money from the unsuspecting members of the public using fake job positions.
