The Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, His Eminence Samuel Uche, has disclosed some revelations made by the leader of the herdsmen that kidnapped and held him captive till a ransom of N100 million was paid to secure his release.

Recounting his ordeal in the hands of the evil herdsmen on Channels TV, the Prelate who said his abductors often herd their cows during the day before proceeding to carry guns for kidnapping stated as follows:

“I am pained because these kidnappers told us that the bandits driven away from the North will relocate to the South-East.

“Their leader told us that they would deal with us. Their leader told us that they have planted bandits in Ibadan, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Their leader added that their men are also in the South-South as they await a signal before taking over our area. They promised to “finish” us. They also boasted that the country belongs to their people.

“They have a plan, and some security operatives may be shielding them… They took us around the bush, and there were no security operatives to challenge them. “
