President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed former Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, as the South-South Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative, marking a significant political development within the administration’s widening national engagement strategy.
The appointment was announced during the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Initiative Committees across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
The event, which held under the leadership of Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma representing President Tinubu highlighted the President’s renewed commitment to strengthening his agenda and broadening its reach nationwide.
According to the Presidency, the zonal coordinators will play critical roles in mobilising support, implementing key programs, and aligning grassroots stakeholders with the administration’s long-term goals.
Dr. Okowa’s inclusion signals a notable political collaboration, as he joins other influential figures tapped to drive the initiative in different zones.
The newly inaugurated committees are expected to begin work immediately, advancing the Renewed Hope vision across the country in preparation for upcoming national programs and engagements.
