Two foreign-trained Nigerians have established a company that is setting new standards for networking and event management through its innovative AI-powered platform.
Reports indicate that the company, Zance, was founded by Ukwu Ifeanyichukwu, an alumna of Imperial College, London, and Landmark University, Nigeria, alongside Isaac Oduh, an alumna of Leeds Beckett University and Covenant University, Nigeria.
Zance, described as a cutting-edge invention, is poised to foster meaningful connections and redefine event experiences through advanced technology.
Speaking on the vision behind Zance, Ukwu Ifeanyichukwu explained, “Zance is driven by a mission to create meaningful connections and redefine event experiences. Networking shouldn’t be a source of stress or wasted time. With Zance, we’re ensuring that every moment at an event is impactful.”
“It is designed as the next-level LinkedIn for real-time events. Zance leverages cutting-edge technology to transform the way attendees and organizers interact.”
Highlighting the challenges of traditional events, Ukwu noted that networking events often fail to deliver on their potential. “Hours are spent making unproductive connections, conversations fizzle without follow-ups, and valuable prospects are missed altogether.”
He also explained that event organizers face additional hurdles, including managing logistics, tracking engagement, and proving event success, which often require juggling multiple tools, leading to inefficiencies and increased costs. Sponsors, too, struggle with visibility and measuring their impact. “These are problems Zance was designed to solve,” he asserted.
In his remarks, co-founder Isaac Oduh emphasized that the AI-powered platform caters to the needs of event organizers, sponsors, speakers, and attendees. According to him, “Its AI-driven recommendations will help attendees connect with individuals whose goals and interests align with theirs. Personalized schedules, icebreaker prompts, and follow-up reminders ensure that connections are purposeful and lasting.”
He further explained the platform’s functionalities: “Zance provides a seamless, AI-powered experience that connects people, simplifies event management, and amplifies sponsor impact. For attendees, Zance removes the guesswork in networking by matching them with like-minded individuals. For organizers, the platform offers a centralized dashboard to manage every aspect of their events, from venue selection and vendor coordination to speaker arrangements, attendee engagement, and real-time analytics.”
“For sponsors, Zance maximizes visibility by connecting them with their ideal audience while offering measurable insights into engagement and ROI,” Oduh noted. “For speakers, the platform enables them to showcase their skills and specialties, making them available for speaking engagements at events.”
However, event management experts have noted that Zance promises to revolutionize the event-tech landscape by addressing the shortcomings of traditional networking and event management, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for all stakeholders involved.
