——- Says the project represents not just an upgrade in infrastructure, but a revolutionary shift in learning methodology, sustainability, and digital integration.

A Member, Guild of Public Affairs Analysts of Nigeria, Enugu State Chapter, Dr. Chukwudi Anyianuka, made this known while speaking on the topic “ Transition to Smart Green schools and Matters Arising from Governor Peter Mbah’s Address to Ndi Enugu,” on the programme, Southeast Media Conclave, on Freedom Square TV, anchored by Uchenna Cyril Anioke.
Anyianuka described the Enugu Smart Green School initiative as a transformative leap “beyond the quantum” in the state’s education sector.
According to him, “ I commend the Governor for this bold initiative. Not everybody who dreams brings such dreams to reality. We can’t even describe this leap as just quantum, it is more than that . The leap is such of something that we were skeptical about the idea. First, I looked at it as something that is utopia. I said, will this man realise this and I wasn’t shy in asking the Governor questions on one of the town hall meetings I was opportuned to attend . I asked him about the sustainability of this smart green schools; what about the smart teachers that will drive this smart schools. The smart green school is really a leap that is beyond quantum.”
He emphasized that the smart green school is designed to merge technology-driven education with eco-friendly infrastructure, ensuring that students are not only prepared for global competitiveness but also nurtured in an environment that promotes sustainability.
He, therefore, stressed that the initiative sets a new benchmark for educational development in Nigeria, one that could serve as a model for other states to emulate.
