Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has officially returned to Old Trafford for pre-season preparations after concluding his spell with Spanish giants Barcelona.
The England international announced his departure in a post on his X account on Thursday, expressing gratitude to Barcelona for what he described as an unforgettable chapter in his career.
Rashford thanked the club, its players, staff and supporters for making his time in Spain memorable, saying the experience would remain with him for years to come.
“I’m extremely grateful to everyone at the club for turning my time here into such a positive and unforgettable experience. I’ve loved every moment and will carry those special memories with me.
“Wishing the club and all the fans the very best of luck and massive success this season,” Rashford wrote.
The forward now returns to Manchester United as preparations intensify for the new campaign, with his attention shifting back to life at Old Trafford.
Rashford’s return provides United with an experienced attacking option ahead of the 2026/27 season, as the club looks to strengthen its squad and compete for domestic and European honours.
