Senator Dino Malaye accuses Wike of taking drugs

Senator Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kogi State, has once again criticized the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. The disagreement between the two started when Governor Wike expressed his opposition to Dino’s bid for the PDP ticket for the Kogi gubernatorial poll. During a media chat in Port Harcourt on April 11, Wike had stated that Dino was not qualified to become the Governor of Kogi State.

Dino, who is a former federal lawmaker, responded to the governor’s comments by linking Wike’s rift with him to his inability to secure the PDP’s presidential ticket in 2022 and the fact that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, did not pick him as his running mate. Despite this, Dino was able to secure the PDP’s gubernatorial ticket on Monday, making him the party’s candidate for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State.

During an appearance on Arise Television program on Wednesday, Dino described Wike as a drug and alcoholic induced individual and said that he had no interest in discussing such a personality. According to Dino, Wike’s actions are a result of post-election trauma. He further stated that he wants to focus on his election campaign and how to help the people of Kogi State to greater good, rather than engage in a war of words with Wike.

Dino’s comments have added to the existing tension between him and Governor Wike, as their disagreement continues to attract public attention. While some individuals have criticized Dino for his comments, others have supported him and condemned Wike’s opposition to his candidacy. As the gubernatorial election approaches, it remains to be seen how this disagreement between the two politicians will impact the election results.

Meanwhile governor wike is a man with so much charisma who helps in Electoral campaigns for the PDP, While Dino has secured the PDP’s gubernatorial ticket for the upcoming election in Kogi State, his relationship with Governor Wike remains strained.
