103 SS3 Students Benefit from Alhaji Sani Friday Nnaji’s Foundation WAEC Registration Sponsorship at Community Secondary School, Mbu

Enugu-born agriculturist and business maestro, Alhaji Sani Friday Nnaji , has once more demonstrated his philanthropic gesture towards rural education advancement by procuring WAEC forms for over 103 SS3 students at Community Secondary School Mbu, located in Isi Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State through his foundation, Alhaji Sani Friday Nnaji Foundation .

Speaking on Monday, 3rd March 2025, during the scholarship award presentation held at Mbu Community, Alhaji Sani stated that he is determined to reshape the academic journey of the young minds in his community, allowing them to focus on their studies without the worry of examination fees.

He further announced that 10 of the best-performing students from the beneficiaries would be awarded full scholarships to tertiary institutions, covering both school fees and logistics.

 

According to him:

“This is just the beginning. I want to ensure that these young minds have the chance to shine and create a brighter future for themselves. Let us keep praying that this won’t be the last. All the beneficiaries should know that 10 of the best-performing students who would write JAMB would be awarded scholarships to further their education at the tertiary level. The scholarships will cover full tuition and other necessary academic expenses, offering the students a rare opportunity to pursue their career aspirations.”

In his address, the Hon. Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ndubueze Mbah, represented by his Special Adviser Dr. Muoh, praised Alhaji Sani for his selfless gesture. He stressed that grassroots education development requires the active participation of private individuals and community leaders to bridge the gaps in educational advancement.

 

“His Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has opened the door to partnership in the education sector. What we have witnessed today shows that individuals can play vital roles in supporting the government’s vision for quality education. I call on others to emulate this noble gesture.”

 

Also speaking, the Vice Chancellor of the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Enugu State Prof James Ogbonna , assured the students of the institution’s commitment to providing a direct pathway to higher education for the outstanding students. He reaffirmed the university’s readiness to support the academic growth of brilliant students from the community, especially with the registrar of the institution being a son of the soil.

Better yet, the event ended on a joyful note, with students, parents, and community leaders expressing gratitude to Alhaji Sani for his kind gesture; whose act of benevolence has not only relieved families of financial burdens but also inspired renewed hope for a brighter future in Mbu Community.
