South East Zonal Chairman, Councilor’s Forum of Nigeria Member, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Odoh, made this known while appearing on a programme “Youth Training Initiative on Ethical Artificial Intelligence Skills” on Freedom Square, Solid FM, anchored by Uchenna Cyril Anioke.

Rt. Hon.Odoh expressed confidence that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will play a major role in reducing unemployment in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area.

Odoh noted that AI has the capacity to open new job opportunities, empower young people, and prepare the community for the future of work.

In his words, “A.I is no longer the future, it is already here. This is shaping the minds of youths. This is human empowerment. This is something that in the nearest future, this training will be empowering the young people with ethical A.I . It is something that in the nearest future is going to trickle down to so many families, so many people are going to be beneficiary. This 300 persons to be trained are going to benefit and change the entire Enugu people and Nigeria beyond. what we are doing in this programme is to harness the benefit and positive impact of A.I as this will create self reliance and employment.”

He extended his appreciation to the Chairman of Igbo-Eze South LGA for supporting ongoing skill acquisition programmes and championing youth empowerment initiatives.

He praised the chairman’s commitment to improving the technological readiness of the community and fostering an environment where young people can thrive.

Odoh therefore encouraged youths to take advantage of these opportunities, emphasizing that embracing technology today will ensure sustainable growth and development for Igbo-Eze South tomorrow.
