Boko Haram terrorists once again, on Wednesday, stormed Geidam, a Yobe town they had attacked in 2021, killing and setting the Government Science and Technical School Geidam ablaze.
The terrorists had sneaked into Geidam on Wednesday night without firing any single shot after packing their motorbikes in a nearby community. As they entered the town, they set theGovernment Science and Technical School Geidam ablaze after killing one person at the school quarters.
Next, the sect members attacked Kwari’, a popular hotel in Geidam, where they slaughtered 10 persons, both men and women. Recounting the horrible attack, a resident of the town stated as follows:
“They took us by surprise this time around; they entered in silence without firing shots or using vehicles.”
“Upon their entrance, they asked some of the residents to recite verses of the Qur’an before they either allowed them leave or get killed.”
