The deputy minority leader House of Representatives, representing Aninri/Agwu and Oji river constituency, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu hosts the PDP gubernatorial candidate Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah at the Ugbo civic center.
In a speech made by the deputy minority leader, he has expressed that Awgu will support the PDP guber candidate and that the people of greater Awgu is not in doubt of the candidate.

In his words,

“Your excellency this is to demonstrate our unity. Once we make a promise we deliver on it. We should learn to support and we support because he can deliver. He is the only candidate that has developed an actionable plan.
Once we make a promise we fulfill it. We know that every politics is local and we must be Fidel.”

The ongoing event is massively attended by several group and dignitaries of Aninri, Agwu and Oji river and these groups has dramatically in songs expressed their solidarity to the party and her candidate, peter mbah.
