The turmoil ravaging the ruling party since her national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, attempted to impose a consensus candidate on the party has finally moved to a halt as Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress has obtained over 50 per cent of the total votes cast in the ongoing presidential primary of the party in Abuja and has emerged the long awaited APC Flag bearer for the 2023 upcoming election.
Tinubu who came first in the election leads with over 1149 votes and his closest contenders, Rotimi Amaechi and Yemi Osinbajo, who got 316 and 235 votes respectively.
