Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, an Oba and the Oluwo of Iwoland, has on Wednesday denied saying that Igbos can’t produce Nigeria president days after he reportedly made the statement when a presidential aspirant visited him.

Denying what he had reportedly said and carried by a cross section of the media, Akanbi, through a Chief Press Secretary, Alli Ibraheem said:

“the Igbo people are my own. I’ve Igbo in my blood. I’ve invested heavily on sustaining Nigeria’s unity and will continue doing so”.
