I do not endorse nor support Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC” — FRANK NWEKE:  The Enugu  gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Mr Frank Nweke Jnr. Has today, in a press statement debunked the fake news making rounds on the internet claiming Nweke’s support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC in the upcoming election.

He described the Fake news as being concocted from the imagination of mischievous individuals.

Nweke says the acclaimed support is grossly untrue, he is in no way supporting Tinubu

and no interview was granted to the peddlers of this fakery.

The APGA flagbearer has also expressed his unflinching commitment to issue based campaign, focus on the goal and not to be distracted by mere propaganda.

According to the report, two organizations has been reported as the main originators

of the fake news.

The statement also reads that their lawyers have been briefed and will get in touch with the organizations circulating such misinformation to seek redress.

The Statement reads; 

Our attention has been drawn to two news items concocted from the imagination of mischievous individuals and published on AnchorNews and TrendOnline platforms.
While our stance remains to focus on the issues that affect ndi Enugu, we find it necessary

to address these wrong assertions.

TrendOnline’s report by a supposed Godwin Eze of Frank Nweke Jr’s endorsement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is completely false and at no time was any interview granted today or before today that

could have been misconstrued as such. I do not endorse nor support Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress.

The accusatory and dismal piece by Innocent Chukwu on Anchor News is libelous, inane and completely untrue. Our lawyers will be in touch with both organisations forthwith to seek redress.
