——— Says the outage is to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) carry out essential maintenance works on its facilities

MainPower Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MEDL) wishes to inform her esteemed customers in parts of Enugu Metropolis of a planned power outage scheduled for Wednesday 1st October, 2025 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

In a letter signed by Emeka Ezeh who is the Head, Communications, MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited and Obtained by Freedom Square Television.

He stated that the maintenance will affect the following 33KV Feeders/Lines: Kingsway (Lines 1 & 2), Emene Industrial (Lines 1 & 2), Ugwuogo, Thinkers Corner, Trans Ekulu, Ituku Ozalla, and Government House.

Consequently, the areas that would be affected include: 9th Mile and surrounding communities, Government House and environs, Shoprite Axis, Golf Estate, Zoo Estate, Okpara Avenue, Kingsway Area, Abakaliki Road, CBN Quarters, Railway Quarters, Artisan, Ngwo, Coal Camp, Ologo Quarters, Uwani, Asata, Golden Royale, and Iva Valley.

He sincerely regret the inconvenience it may cause esteemed customers and assure them that supply will be restored once the maintenance exercise is completed, while reiterating the
