The Southern Kaduna Youth Stakeholders Forum has publicly expressed heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued support and commitment to the development of their region. In acknowledgment of the significant federal interventions that have benefited Southern Kaduna, the Forum has pledged to mobilize no fewer than one million votes for President Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Engr. Seth Habila Bakut, the Forum’s Director of Research and Documentation, made this known in a statement where he also acknowledged the contributions of Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani. Bakut praised the governor for his generous backing of the Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Memorial Hospital in Kafanchan. This support, he explained, played a key role in securing the establishment of a Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in the town. Furthermore, Governor Sani was commended for allocating over 170 hectares of land to house the permanent site of the newly approved Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia—an initiative regarded as a major milestone for the region.
In the same vein, the Forum extended its commendation to Rep. Dr. Amos Gwamna Magaji, whose steadfast commitment to Southern Kaduna’s development has yielded high-impact infrastructure projects. Notably, Rep. Magaji was instrumental in the realization of the FMC in Kafanchan, even in the face of resistance from certain quarters. His efforts were credited with attracting multi-billion naira investments aimed at bridging the long-standing infrastructural gaps in the area.
The group reaffirmed its unwavering support for President Tinubu, Governor Sani, and other All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, while also appreciating the people of Southern Kaduna for their consistent backing. Engr. Bakut concluded by cautioning against attempts by individuals to monopolize credit for federal projects, stressing that such actions not only distort the truth but also risk alienating the region from future developmental gains spearheaded by the presidency.
