A human rights activist and one time aid to Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has on Monday called on the Muhammadu Buhari-led government to sack Kaduna State Governor, Malam El-Rufai and declare a state of emergency in the state due to the ever increasing spate of terrorist attacks believed to be the handiwork of Fulani militias camped in various forests in parts of the Northern region and elsewhere.
Omokri, who took to online media to make the call however doubted if President Buhari, who is a Fulani, will do the needful because the terrorists may expose him and Governor El-Rufai, also a Fulani.
He also accused President Buhari of being biased in his dealings with the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, whom he unleashed brute force on even as they’ve not touched anybody. Omokri’s words are as follows:
“Kaduna is a war zone. The best thing now is to declare a state of emergency and remove the Governor @elrufai, whose comments and actions have fuelled the crisis. But of course, General Buhari won’t do it. Why? Because the terrorists may expose him and El-Rufai!
“How many people did IPOB kill before General Buhari invaded the Southeast with Operation Python Dance? Who was killed before Buhari sent Operation Crocodile Smile to the Southsouth? Now, terrorists have turned Kaduna to a war zone and Buhari is smiling at Aso Rock!”
