The First Lady of Ondo State, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu, on Monday took to Facebook to announce the arrival of her husband, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, back to the country after death rumor about him had seculated last week.

Recall that an online blogger, Gistlover, had last weekendreported that the Governor had given up the ghost after a botched medical procedure abroad.

The rumor, however, was quickly dispelled by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Richard Olatunde, who explained through his social media handles that the Governor was well and kicking and that he had only gone to Germany on a few days vacation.

Governor Akeredolu who is currently celebrating his 41stwedding anniversary landed at the Nigerian airport around 7am on Monday.
