Ada Ameh, the Popular Nigerian actress known for her role as Emu in the Africa Magic family drama, The Johnsons, has passed away at the age of 48.
It was gathered that ‘The Johnsons’ star, collapsed and died around 11 pm on Sunday in Warri, Delta State.
Ameh was said to have been a guest of an oil company toyshop with her family when she suddenly collapsed.
A source confirmed that she was rushed to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s hospital in Warri after she collapsed. She was declared dead on arrival at the facility.
On Sunday, July 18 around 12.53pm, Ameh made a video post on her verified Instagram account where she was sighted in the company of friends as she enjoyed a meal of rice and stew and she appeared well.
Recall that Ada Ameh had on June 15 opened up on her verified Instagram page that she is battling with her mental health.
She had said the issue was gradually taking her life but she believes that she will not die and will get over it.
She also revealed that she was sued over her inability to deliver on a job.
Her death comes almost two years after losing her only child. Ameh lost her child in October 2020.
It was also reported that The Nollywood star had lost her Father and six of her Siblings within a short period of time.
