Ukraine Hands Over Comprehensive Peace Proposals to U.S. Negotiators to End Conflict

Ukraine has officially submitted a comprehensive set of peace proposals to diplomatic representatives from the United States, marking a significant step in the ongoing efforts to negotiate an end to the prolonged conflict with Russia.

The document, which details Kyiv’s core conditions and strategic framework for ending hostilities, was handed over to American negotiators during a series of high-level diplomatic discussions aimed at aligning international backing ahead of potential broader peace talks.

According to senior Ukrainian officials, the submitted draft outlines critical priorities centered on safeguarding national sovereignty, restoring territorial integrity, and securing binding international security guarantees to prevent future aggression.

Kyiv’s proposal stresses that any durable resolution must respect the country’s internationally recognized borders and provide robust mechanisms for long-term regional stability. The peace plan also addresses key economic and humanitarian considerations, including the return of prisoners of war, the repatriation of displaced citizens, and structured frameworks for post-war reconstruction.

The submission comes at a pivotal moment as Washington and its Western allies continue to evaluate diplomatic pathways to halt the fighting while maintaining firm support for Ukraine. U.S. negotiators received the proposals for detailed review, with plans to consult closely with European partners and NATO allies to formulate a coordinated response.

Ukrainian leaders reiterated that while they remain fully committed to achieving a just and lasting peace through diplomatic means, any workable agreement must ensure that justice is served and that Ukraine’s security infrastructure remains uncompromised moving forward.
