Thousands of youths in Katsina State have reportedly burnt brooms symbolizing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)to register their a anger and dissatisfaction with the party after dumping it for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The mass defection of the youths, according reports, followed the exit of the Senator representing katsina North Senatorial district, Ahmed Baba Kaita, who dumped APC for PDP where he is making plans to clinch the governorship ticket of the party.

A youth movement to support Hon. Kaita has already been mobilized to ensure the success of the lawmaker both at the party primaries and the 2023 governorship elections in Katsina State.
