Osun INEC Presents Final Register of 2.34 Million Voters and Obtains Bulk of Non-Sensitive Election Logistics

OSOGBO, NIGERIA — The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osun State has officially unveiled the final comprehensive voter register for the state, confirming that a total of 2.34 million citizens are successfully registered and eligible to participate in upcoming electoral cycles.

Alongside the publication of the voter data, the commission disclosed that its state headquarters has securely received approximately 95 percent of all required non-sensitive electoral materials.

These logistical items, which include cubicles, stamps, envelopes, and other administrative materials, have already been stockpiled and systematically batched across the various local government area offices to prevent last-minute distribution bottlenecks.

INEC officials emphasized that the timely arrival of the bulk of non-sensitive logistics, coupled with the final verification of the 2.34 million voter base, underscores the electoral umpire’s operational readiness to conduct a seamless, transparent, and well-organized poll.

The commission reassured political parties and civil society organizations that strict security protocols are in place at all storage facilities, adding that sensitive materials like ballot papers and results sheets will be deployed through standard secured channels closer to the election date.
