Anambra Man Takes Own Life in Enugu: A tragic incident occurred in Enugu as Chris Ozobia, a father of four hailing from Onitsha, Anambra state, took his own life at his workplace on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. Ozobia, aged in his 40s, ended his life at his block industry situated in Ugbo Owa, near the old airport road in Emene, Enugu. He leaves behind a grieving wife and four children, aged between three and nine years old, residing in standard layout by tarmac school, Emene Enugu.

According to a close acquaintance who wished to remain anonymous, Ozobia deceived his wife into leaving their home before succumbing to his despair. His lifeless body was discovered the following day, Monday, March 4th, 2024, after his wife and child noticed his phone turned off at home.

The Acquaintance

The acquaintance shared, “Only he knew the reasons for his departure; he left no note, leaving everyone perplexed by his decision. Known for his zest for life and enjoyment, his sudden demise came as a shock.” Ozobia’s absence was initially attributed to a visit to his cement supplier at Penoks junction, as he had informed his wife. However, when he failed to return and his phone remained unreachable, alarm bells rang. His wife and daughter eventually found his lifeless body at the block industry.

Reports suggest Ozobia ingested two large bottles of sniper, purchased from Eke Obinagu market, prior to his tragic demise. Despite being a University of Benin graduate with no prior indications of suicidal tendencies, Ozobia’s family now faces immense struggles, with his children still in primary school. Their plight has stirred a call for assistance from the community, as they navigate this devastating loss.
