Dunamis Church Leader Apologizes for Testimony Incident: In response to the backlash following the treatment of a church member during her testimony,
Dr. Paul Enenche, the General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has issued an apology to
Ms. Veronica Anyim for the incident that occurred during the church service on Sunday, expressing regret for his actions.
A video circulating online showed Enenche questioning the authenticity of the woman’s claim of being a
Law graduate, sparking controversy and prompting calls for an apology from the public.
In a press release on Monday by Sylvester Edoh, Personal Assistant Secretary to the Senior Pastor,
it was stated, “As a Commission, we deeply regret the inconvenience, distress, and embarrassment caused
to Ms. Anyim Veronica Nnenna by this unfortunate incident. We are dedicated to her well-being and spiritual development.
“It is important to clarify that publicly embarrassing the testifier and the subsequent media attention were never intended; the incident occurred in the heat of the moment.

“The Senior Pastor’s response was driven by the church’s commitment to excellence and aversion to any form of dishonesty.”
Enenche emphasized that while the church upholds its values of excellence and truthfulness, there was no intention
to cause harm or offense to Ms. Anyim Veronica.
He explained that his reaction was prompted by concerns about the accuracy of the woman’s claims, particularly regarding
her alleged 10-year study of Law and the ambiguity surrounding her degree.
Enenche clarified, “Furthermore, her inability to specify her degree as LLB, which is the standard qualification for Law, raised doubts about the authenticity of her statements.”
Regarding the public outcry and concerns, Ms. Veronica Anyim addressed the issue on her Facebook page, expressing her gratitude for the support received and stating her commitment to continue serving God as a member of Dunamis church. She emphasized her desire to move forward and urged everyone to do the same.
