Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu has on Wednesday taken over as the substantive national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.

Adamu, a former Governor of Nasarawa State and presently a serving Senator, was presented with all the mantle of leadership by the Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Buni, himself aformer chairman and leader of the party’s National Caretaker and Convention Planning Committee.

Adamu had emerged as the national chairman APC unopposed at the partys convention held last Saturday 26th March, at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
