On December 29th, Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, commissioned three major projects in Onu Aku, Uturu, located in Isiukwuato Local Government Area. The projects, developed by Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, Founder and President of Masters Energy Group, include Masters 105.9 FM, The Wilsons Hotels and Resorts, and Wilson and Paulina Memorial Hospital. These inaugurations were part of activities commemorating the final rites and celebration of the life of Dr. Ogah’s late mother, Ezinne Paulina Ogbonne Ogah, JP. The late matriarch is also the mother of Hon. Amobi Ogah, who represents Isiukwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Governor Otti praised Dr. Ogah for his efforts to bring development to his hometown and create job opportunities for the local population. During a preceding church service, Otti reflected on the impactful life of the late Ezinne Ogah, describing her as a woman who “came, saw, and conquered.” He urged the family to uphold her positive legacy.
Former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, commissioned the radio station and lauded Dr. Ogah for fostering community development through his investments.
Following the commissioning, Governor Otti attended a civic reception organized by Leru Patriotic Development Union (LPDU) at Leru Umuchieze Secondary School Field, Umunneochi Local Government Area, to honor CP Ifeanyi Uche, Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center (NPF-NCCC). Otti commended CP Uche for his contributions to the community and state, urging him to continue his exemplary work. CP Uche expressed gratitude to Governor Otti for his support, particularly during his promotion to Commissioner of Police. The event also drew notable dignitaries, including Enugu State Governor Barr. Peter Mba and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi.
