Former Senate President Chief Ken Nnamani losses wife

Mrs. Jane Udewo Amaechi Nnamani, the wife of former Senate President Chief Ken Nnamani, has passed away. The news of her demise, which occurred on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the National Orthopedic Hospital in Enugu, has caused a brewing crisis within the family. It is reported that Chief Ken Nnamani, who is currently overseas for medical treatment, has not been informed of his wife’s death.

The late Mrs. Nnamani, believed to be in her early 60s, had undergone minor surgery at the hospital before her unfortunate passing. Shockingly, neither her children residing overseas nor her daughter in Enugu were aware of her health condition or the surgery she was undergoing.

According to a family source, Mrs. Nnamani went to the hospital for the surgery accompanied by her home help and driver, but she did not inform her daughter about it. The family now faces the delicate task of breaking the news to Chief Ken Nnamani, who is unaware of his wife’s demise and her body’s location.

Complicating matters further, none of Mrs. Nnamani’s male children are currently in the country, and her youngest daughter in Enugu is unsure of how to handle the situation and make the official announcement.

Prior to her passing, Mrs. Nnamani was actively involved in the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) as a member of the Governing Council. Remarkably, she was also pursuing her doctoral studies in Business Management at the university, being in her final year.

The sudden demise of Mrs. Jane Udewo Amaechi Nnamani has sent shockwaves through her family and close associates. As they grapple with the profound loss, their focus now turns to addressing the delicate matter of informing Chief Ken Nnamani, ensuring the necessary arrangements for the return of their children residing abroad, and coordinating the funeral proceedings in accordance with their customs and wishes.

The family seeks solace and strength during this difficult time, drawing support from their community, friends, and loved ones as they navigate the grieving process and honor the memory of their beloved Mrs. Jane Udewo Amaechi Nnamani.
